You will need to mount the camera and solar panel on a pole at a height of 2–3 metres. Click here for mounting specifications.

The PlateAlert camera is charged by a solar panel (included). The panel should receive maximum winter sun at the camera location and must not be shaded.

I am satisfied my camera site meets the solar criteria.

PlateAlert requires you to use our mobile app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

I have a iOS (Apple) or Android based mobile phone for using the PlateAlert mobile app.

PlateAlert requires a monthly or annual subscription via direct debit to provide 4G data and the required mobile app services. This can be cancelled at anytime. *traffic rates apply

PlateAlert can be self installed with some basic skills. We'll provide clear installation instructions, and our team will help complete the camera setup remotely once mounted. If you would like the camera to be professionally installed, select the installation option during the Purchase Step.

Sometimes due to high demand or stock levels your PlateAlert camera may take up to 10 working days to prepare. We will notify you as soon as it is ready to be shipped.

Rural delivery can add 1–2 days. We’ll email tracking as soon as it is on the courier.
